Questions about GTScope and GameTracker

Is GTScope part of GameTracker?

No. GTScope is an independent game server tracker, not connected to GameTracker or to its owners. GameTracker is a trademark of its owner.

Is GTScope free?

Yes. Looking servers up, their pages, their statistics, banners and alerts are free. Only promotion costs credits, and credits are earned on the site.

How often are the servers checked?

Every 5 minutes the scanner asks each server for its players and its map. A server that stops answering shows as offline until it answers again.

Can I look a server up by its IP?

Yes: write its IP and port (203.0.113.5:27015), or a part of its name, in the box at the top of this page or in the list of servers. A listed address opens its server's page.

My server is on GameTracker. How do I bring it here?

Look its IP up first: it may already be listed. Then claim it by putting the code we give you in its name for a few minutes — nothing to install. If it is not listed, add it with its IP and port: an administrator approves it, then the scanner takes it from there.

Are bots counted as players?

No. The bots a server declares are left out: the lists and the totals count people.
