To keep the competition lively and fair, our system uses a Hybrid (Monthly + All-Time) algorithm. This means new servers can quickly reach first place if they are active this month, but the work put in by older servers is not erased either. Here is how the score is calculated:

• Monthly Votes (Active Competition) - 100 points per vote Every vote received in the current month adds 100 points. This is the most powerful factor! On the 1st of each month, monthly votes reset to 0, giving everyone an equal chance to take first place.

• All-Time Votes (Historical Prestige) - 1 point per vote Votes collected over the years are kept permanently, but they are worth only 1 point each. So a server with 5,000 old votes has 5,000 guaranteed points. To overtake it, a new server needs just 51 votes this month (51 x 100 = 5,100 points).

• Fill Rate (Up to 25 points) Servers get a bonus proportional to how full they are, regardless of their size. A server that is 100% full (e.g. 32/32 or 10/10) gets the maximum of 25 points. This helps small, tight-knit communities compete fairly.

• Absolute Player Count Bonus (Up to 50 points) Huge servers that hold a very large number of players (e.g. 64/64) get 1 point for every player online. This adds a fine distinction between a small full server and a massive full one.

• Stability (15 points) & Favorites (Max 10 points) An online server automatically gets 15 points, and each player who adds the server to their favorites brings 1 extra point (up to a maximum of 10 points).

Important Note - Points are calculated in real time! Points earned from the number of players (Rules 3 and 4) do not accumulate indefinitely. Our system scans the servers every 5 minutes and calculates the score 'on the spot'. For example, if your server is empty at 4:00 in the morning, the player points will disappear from the score, and when it fills up again, the points will be added back automatically. This keeps the leaderboard alive and reflects the exact state of the servers at that moment. The only things that accumulate permanently are Votes and Favorites.

In short: A single vote in the current month beats almost any perfect player statistic. Encourage your players to vote every month to stay at the top!
